Red Packet Campaign

HAPPY CHILDREN ON THE BATTLEFIELD

Ten years of war in Syria…

The US withdrew its troops from Afghanistan, which led to the new regime of the Taliban’s ruling…

The political environment in Myanmar is unstable. There have been conflicts for years…

Can you imagine how many children are struggling to survive under the flames of war? According to a Taiwanese media report in March 2020, nearly 500,000 children had to flee their homes during the nine-year war in Syria. They have to live in the poor environment of refugee camps and settlement areas on the border of Turkey, and they are unable to get their basic needs.

We may not be able to stop the war, but we can definitely bring a little happiness to the children suffering under the war.

We organise the ‘Red Packet Campaign’ every year in Chinese New Year to raise funds for our children’s projects in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. We help children in need and provide them with daily necessities, education, disaster prevention and anti-pandemic supplies, etc.

Please support the ‘Red Packet Campaign’ to offer the red packets to children in need:

  • ‘Red Packet Campaign’: Both adults and children can participate
    • Donate Red Packet Money: As a sign of blessing, participants may request ‘Lucky’ stickers from us, put them on the red packets they receive during the festival, and then donate them to help the poor.
    • Share CEDAR’s Red Packets: Participants may request ‘CEDAR’s Red Packets’ from us. Inside the packet, there is a donation form. We encourage the participants to make a one-off donation or donate to us regularly.  Besides, they can share our red packets with their friends and relatives to join the meaningful action.
  • Groups are welcome to sign up. Please get the ‘CEDAR’s Red Packet’ and the ‘Lucky’ stickers for everyone in your group.
  • Please invite us to your group to share the children’s stories in our projects to increase awareness about the issue.

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
