GENDER EQUALITY-EMPLOYMENT IN ASIA

9 June 2010 – Gazipur, Bangladesh – Employees of a garment factory : Women are paid considerably less than men. Women earn 50% of what men earn for the same work. When women work, they usually have fewer opportunities than men to work in the industry and services sectors.
