What sets CEDAR Fund apart from other poverty alleviation, development, and relief organisations is our operating principle of helping the poor, ‘From Church, Through Church’. Here, ‘Church’ refers not to a specific congregation but to the Christian community.
Across impoverished regions in various countries, we partner with local churches and Christian organisations to run projects that support those in need, helping them improve their lives and live out the abundant life God intends for them. This work is made possible through the support of churches and believers in Hong Kong. We actively encourage the Christian community to take part through giving, prayer, and volunteer service, enabling us to continue serving our neighbours in poverty.
For many years, CEDAR Fund has been committed to promoting Integral Mission in Hong Kong and advancing poverty alleviation education among churches, schools, and Christian communities. Beyond sharing at various local churches, schools, and organisations, we also produce publications and resources to help believers understand global poverty and be nurtured by biblical teachings.
