We welcome referral from seminaries or colleges, or individual to apply for Cedar internship programme and serve with us.

We provide internship for student of theology. On one hand, they can understand the operation of Christian poverty alleviation organisation, learn about issues of poverty alleviation education and integral mission. On the other hand, they have the chance to integrate their theological knowledge with the theory or practice of international poverty alleviation ministry and get to know the experiences of overseas churches on how to put the belief in action, serving the community.

We will arrange co-workers to become internship tutors for the students of theology, guide and evaluate the internship work according to the expertise and interests of the students.

Internship Testimonies

Kevin
Seminarist

Hello everyone, I am Kelvin (seminarist), I am honoured to have a two-month summer intern in CEDAR. Even though I could not participate in CEDAR’s overseas ministries due to the pandemic, this summer showed me more important things, which were every co-worker carrying with strong sense of mission, perseverance and persistence in each ministry, and keen awareness of the needs of different countries. I believe that no matter the helpers or receivers, they will definitely show the effect of integrating life.

Jane
College intern

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at CEDAR. As an organisation that manages a vast range of projects globally, there was never a dull moment in the office. I was able to work on a variety of tasks, ranging from translations to marketing to project reviews and research. I particularly enjoyed working on research projects on subjects such as Anti-Human Trafficking in Asia and Africa, Internally Displaced People and Refugees in Myanmar and Syria. Not to mention, working at CEDAR also allowed me to witness the complexities of managing an NGO, and the importance of teamwork and leadership. The staff were extremely kind and supportive!

Kwan
College intern

I learned a lot during the days being an intern in CEDAR Fund. I have learnt how to face and solve problems in the society, absorbed a lot of life experience. Moreover, I also understood the procedures of how CEDAR Fund help the people in need, within the process, it was really meaningful that I could offer help with my humble effort. NOW, I would like to take this chance and wish everyone could give more support to CEDAR Fund and bring more blessing to the world!
